Safety Representative Training

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 entitles employees to select at least one individual as a Safety Representative to represent employees on matters related to Health & Safety. The Safety Representative Course has been designed to ensure that all participants leave the course with the knowledge required to perform their function as a Safety Representative.

Objective:
On successful completion of the course participants will have knowledge of all the relevant legislation and be able to conduct their ‘Duties’ as prescribed in the Act. Participants will also have an understanding of the importance of good Accident / Incident Investigation techniques, risk assessment of the workplace and know how to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection and recommend remedial actions.
