Fire Safety

The Fire Safety training course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards within the work environment and to provide participants with the knowledge to protect themselves.

Objectives:

• Understand the chemistry of fire

• Understand the difference between the various classes of fire extinguishers and their use.

• Identify potential fire risks within their own work environment.

• Use in a practical sense, portable fire extinguishers on all classes of fire

• Understand the requirement for emergency procedures and the action to be taken in an emergency

• Conduct emergency evacuation drills within their work environment
